This is a courtesy translation. The German version of this privacy policy is legally binding.
Protecting your data matters to us. This website is deliberately lean: we set no cookies for visitors, use no analytics or tracking and embed no third-party maps or fonts.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit it, the host processes technically necessary data in server log files, in particular IP address, date and time of access, requested page, browser type and operating system. This is required to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Log data is kept only as long as necessary for these purposes.
3. Contact by phone
When you call us, we process your phone number and the details you give us in order to arrange your ride. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures).
4. Contact and ride requests via WhatsApp
The booking form on this website does not store any data itself. Your input is assembled into a message in your browser. When you submit the form, WhatsApp (app or WhatsApp Web) opens with this pre-filled message, which transmits your input to WhatsApp. We only receive your name, pick-up and destination, requested time, number of passengers, your note and your WhatsApp phone number once you actively send the message in WhatsApp.
Providing this data is voluntary. Without it, however, we cannot process your ride request.
WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta Platforms group). Data may also be transferred to the USA. Information on how WhatsApp processes data is available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea. We use your details solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, simply give us a call.
5. Retention
We store personal data only as long as needed to carry out your ride or as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial and tax law).
6. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access your data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, e.g. the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HBDI), Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.
7. Fonts
The font used is hosted locally on our server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you visit the site.
8. Administration area
We maintain the content of this website (e.g. contact details) in a password-protected administration area. It is stored in a database operated by Neon (Databricks Inc.) in a data centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Visitors to the website are not affected: no cookies are set for them and none of their data is stored in this database.
Only people who log in to the administration area receive a strictly necessary session cookie, which keeps them logged in for at most seven days and is deleted when they log out (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). To protect against password guessing, we store the IP address of failed login attempts for 24 hours. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security of the website).
For people with access to the administration area we store their name, username, e-mail address and password (only as an irreversible hash) and – if two-factor login is switched on – an encrypted key for the authenticator app. This data is deleted as soon as the access is removed.
